Besides 3 quality fight scenes, this is a boring triad movie that wants to be too stylish, but like most dull HK and Taiwanese triad movies at the time, it's plain dull. Because Lo Rei's acting style serious and he looks the part(for a change, instead of teenage Andy Lau and 20 year old steroid fluffers), the fight scenes, and the well written ending, it compensates for the dullness. Worth a look if you have nothing else to watch. Available in the subbed and dubbed versions by the old Arena Hong Kong connections VHS lable in poor quality. **1/2/*****
