this movie staring billy chong and simon yuen and action direction by the yuen clan is regaurded by many as billys finest work i would have to agree it is a great little film. the strugle between master and student is quite enjoyable simon yuen gives an inpressive performance. billy is fast and fluid and really sells the action direction. the only knock on this film is it draws comparisons to other classics starrng simon yuen. but if viewed in its own light it still considered a classic.

Summary: Near-copy of Drunken Master ....

...... right down to the really dumb comedy which dominates the first half-hour. Of course, you don't watch fu films for great acting or thrilling plot development. And with the Yuen clan in charge of the action, you expect plenty of ripper acrobatic fights, and this one does not disappoint. Switch off your brain and gawk at Chong and Co's stunning flexibility and speed.

Summary: Good 70's kung fu movie.

Crystal Fist is easily one of the best movie in which Billy Chong stars, there is a lot of fights and most of them are entertaining. Simon Yuen (The father of Yuen Woo-Ping) also stars in this movie with the same kind of role he had in Drunken Master. Note that corey yuen(My father is a hero, Fong Sai Yuk, X-men, Romeo must die) began his career with this movie as a fight coordinator! Overall good movie worth a watch!..........................7,6/10
