Summary: Sad, heart warming Drama from John Woo.

TYNAF is a heartwarming film from John Woo. His take on The Sunshine Boys is one to behold. The chemistry between the two leads was such a joy to watch. I loved this film (even though it seems a tad dated) and I highly recommend this film. I was surprised by how good it was.

Two old vaudeville comedians who broke up many years ago over a woman are reunited to perform for a benefit show for sick children. A twist of fate brings these once best of friends now the bitterest of enemies back together. This movie show cases the meaning of true friendship.

John Woo's over-the-top higher-octane take on Neil Simon's THE SUNSHINE BOYS, with two elderly statesmen of entertainment (once a team, now enemies) re-uniting for a special live television broadcast. The Hong Kong melodramatic approach works where THE SUNSHINE BOYS failed miserably.

There are those that don't like Woo's comedies but the onesI've seen I have greatly enjoyed. This film is a true John Woo with many of his themes present. The only differences is its a comedy and not an action film. The plot concerns two bickering aging comedians brought together for a reunion. I found it delightful.
