The Kung Fu Kids

Summary: The legend has begun...

What can I say about this little gem... this is one of the best martial movies starring and aimed to children I have seen in my life. Cho Ha-Foo and Yen Chin-Kwok are good comedy actors and martial performers. Even Chen Shun-Yun, who plays "Fatty", is nice here. They play the three grandsons of an aged martial master (Chen Wai-Lau) who lives in the mountains. The trio flees to the Big City for the first time. They will play several childish comedy scenes (maybe the worst segments of the movie) till they meet a criminal gang which plans to use them in their "operations". But everything goes bad and they must flee again. They meet their grandma (Tam Ai-Chen) and little sister. When the sister is kidnapped by the criminal gang... the kung-fu kids will teach them a brutal lesson!!!! Really nice the scene where Yen and Eugene Thomas play Bruce Lee and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in "The Game of Death", broken neck included.
