Reviewed by: STSH Date: 01/18/2000 Summary: Pleasant buddy film Neither great nor bad. The actors play their parts competently without any particular flair. Cece Yip is disappointing for two reasons. First, her part is quite small, hence I ranked her 6th. Also, she is far less beautiful than in many other films. Guess she improved with age. Watch films like Love Among The Triad or Peace Hotel, and see what I mean. Shing Fui On and Yiu Wai are effective in their small (and uncredited) parts. Overall : pleasant, but nothing special.
