Reviewed by: STSH Date: 11/25/2002 Summary: Pretty ordinary Nothing much remarkable here. A light romantic comedy with very little spark and nothing much happening. Joey completists will want to watch this film, but shouldn't be in too much of a hurry. Though she looks quite good, and the photography is very well done, she isn't particularly given the glamour treatment, as she was given in many later films. Louis Kong never really took off as a male romantic lead, possibly because he only looks slightly less feminine than Joey ! On the plus side, this is a film with almost no violence, unless you count a half-hearted attempted rape near the end. There are a few nice moments, but oddly, they are between the older couple of Joey's mum and her art lecturer. Not really my type of movie, but no classic regadless. Reviewer Score: 3
