Summary: Light-hearted entertaining dross

Do Do gives a particularly overstated, amusing performance as a name not to be messed with in Vancouvers Chinatown. Lawrence Cheng is typically feeble as the poor fellow who arrives from HK to be with his wife, who he finds has shacked up with "Speedo", a local beefcake cop. Unfortunately the house he bought for them he left in her name and all his money is tied up in BCCI!! Do Do takes him under her wing - guess what happens next....

Do Do is great as the tomboy figure and Vancouver looks like a nice place - Give it a go, why not?

On his first day in Vancouver, poor chump Chan Tai Yuen finds out that his wife prefers her muscular Caucasian boyfriend Speedo over him, and that he's lost the deed of their house to her, as well. Tai almost has an affair with Ying, a poolside lovely, but ends up marrying butch Madam Kwai (Carol Cheng) after promising same to her brother's ghost, who periodically shows up in smoking fireman's gear. Light stuff, and slack toward the end.
