Summary: Fun Movie !!

I have seen some silly Alfred Cheung
movies before so I went in with low
expectations for the most part.
I saw previews from another
movie and noticed Veronica Yip!
Well, being a fan of hers I bought this.
This starts off as a fairly tame and predictable movie...but wait until the 2nd half when Loletta Lee and Max Mok
do their parody of "Rouge". Now this is
really funny if you have seen this movie.
It's not for the uninitiated but if you have seen the above mentioned "Rouge"...you will enjoy at least some of this. The girls look great too!

This comedy is based on a Japanese manga called Video GirlAi. There are a many similarities, and a few hilarious movie parodies. The movie is about young lifegaurd, Ting, who secretly admires a girl named Lisa (Vivian Chow). The movie takes off when Ting and his friend Chung stumble into a laserdisc store and purchase some Laser Lady LD's. When Ting watches the movie, the character Siu Yuk (Veronica Yip) comes out of the television. The movie is fueled on Ting's obsession for Lisa and his growing relationship with Siu Yuk. Overall, this movie was definitely worth watching.
