Infatuation

My *first* HK movie walk-out. It was just about the worst I've seen(right down there with "Spike Drink Gang").

New secretary Maggie starts stalking her boss Ken and ruins his life. You know it's going to be a bad movie when the secretary enters a high level business meeting and closes the sale by wearing a swimsuit. The film starts out terribly, but saves itself somewhat by turning into a mildly interesting psychological study towards the end. Acknowledging its roots by including a clip of _Fatal Attraction_ didn't hurt either. Still, not recommended unless you are really bored.

Not a movie the the HK cinema industry should be proud of. Infatuation shamelessly borrows plot from Fatal Attraction and even music from Forrest Gump. Although the movie takes off smoothly, it quickly runs out of fuel, slipping from moderately interesting to laughably bad. If you're in the mood for an absurd movie, watch this one for the final scene where psycho woman tries to set the disfigured double amputee wife on fire. This one left me shaking my head.
