Swordsman Adventure

If I asked Adam Cheng, one of the prominent figures of new wave wuxia cinema, what he thinks about the new wave and the supernatural powers, he would probably say, "I want to go back to the old days." Indeed, no matter how long it's been since Chor Lau Heung (1979) and One Sword (1978) came out, Adam always retains an old school style in his fighting movements (which I absolutely loathe, BTW).

I feel that Adam is probably more comfortable with the simple choreography of the 70s. Even though he has gone on to make hundreds of hyper-wired tv series, he probably would prefer not to be wired.

This movie, believe it or not, is NOT about Chor Lau Heung (which Adam has played countless times). It's not a very memorable movie. Why? Because it is yet another ultra cheap 80s Taiwanese wuxia movie.
