This 1977 film felt more like a 1984 film, which sounds like a compliment until you remember that Shaw Brothers had pretty much stopped making good films by 1984 :p The manic pacing and cheesy special effects put it in the same class as films like BUDDHA'S PALM and LITTLE DRAGON MAIDEN, and if you like that sort of thing it's clearly worth checking out. Don't go expecting ZU WARRIORS though :)
