Good Times, Bed Times (2003)

Summary: a fun, enjoyable film
Film makers Patrick Leung Pak-Kin and Chan Hing-Kar team up again hoping to recapture the success that they had with "La Brassiere" (2001). "Good Times, Bed Times” features Sammi Cheng, Lau Ching-Wan, and Louis Koo Tin-Lok as they flounder around in fluffy, sanitized screwball comedy that ends up being a fun, enjoyable film.

The screenplay is full of unbelievable characters and the film is badly miscast. If you are willing to buy into Lau Ching-Wan playing a 40 something year old administrative law judge who falls in love with a 20 something sex kitten played by Charlene Choi, then this one is for you. Everyone else can enjoy the harmless fun and watch for Jim Chim Sui-Man and Tats Lau Yi-Dat in very funny supporting roles. Cinematography by Cheung Man-Po is outstanding, as always.
