Gambling Baron (1994)

Of course, you would think that with the casting of Max Mok Siu-Chung and Roy Cheung Yiu-Yeung as the two male leads that Gambling Baron might be a good movie. Of course, you could be wrong. Cheung usually manages to turn in an interesting, quirky performance in every film but not here.

You might think that after years and years of gambling films and gangster flicks that screenwriter Jimmy Leung Chi-Ming would figure out what to "borrow" to include in his story. He didn't, and director Richard Yeung Kuen didn't know what to do with it. This movie went straight to obscurity. If you see it the bargain bin, leave it there.
