Undercover cop Simon Yam divides his loyalties between a vengeful triad boss (Yu Rong-Guang) and an equally unlikable department boss -- as he also chooses between his naive girlfriend and Yu's knockout babe (Christy Chung). There's something to be said about a movie so brisk that it doesn't allow you any bathroom breaks for its last hour; then again, you have a virtually bulletproof villain. Five explosions, three hot femmes.
