Bruce Strikes Back (1982)
Reviewed by: STSH on 2007-05-13
Summary: Follows a formula
Bruce Le (star/director/presenter/choreographer, so he's front and centre for all the blame!) seems to think his fans want the following ingredients in his films.
1. Bruce kicking the bejesus out of anyone who opposes him.
2. Those who oppose him to sometime s fight back
3. Large numbers of lovely young women flaunting their generous bosoms.
4. A simple good guys vs bad guys plot.
5. Lots of different locations.

He seems to be in a hurry to establish all of these elements. The first 20 minutes, which is as much of this twaddle as I could tolerate, saw the action start in Macau, then movie to Rome, then Paris. God knows why. Also, three very nice Caucasian females exposing their breasts. Again, no apparent reason, but who's arguing ? The plot seems to be about Bruce being released from jail and his former boss suspecting him of disloyalty. The boss sends loyal Hwang Jang Lee, also Bruce's trusted ally, to sort him out.

This is yet another case of apparently the right ingredients poorly blended and prepared. Quite missable unless you're a bit bored.
