Summary: Light and fun
Enjoyable romance comedy featuring fun performances by Tony Leung and Su Qi. Tony's character is a tightwad and it's fun to laugh at him being cheap. Su Qi makes the most of her time on camera and neither she nor Tony take themselves too seriously. A good time for the viewer as they both display their charm to full effect.

The plot isn't anything special and has one large hole in it (Su Qi's character doesn't know Tony Leung's even though she's a stockbroker and he's one of the richest, most famous business men in Hong Kong. And the ending could have been handled with more subtlety. But as in action films, the plot line isn't why we watch. If the story of an action or romance is complex or especially original, they score bonus points, but it's silly to take points away from them for the story.

If you like romance comedies, I think you'll be satisfied with this one. It's not the best of class, but it works.
