Everybody Is Laughing (1972)

Summary: Can't think why
HK's much-missed angel songstress Teresa Teng is given top billing but, unfortunately, she appears only in short segments at the beginning, middle and end, where she is singing to an audience. The main content of the story happens some years earlier and is evidently to do with the song Teresa sings.

I'll admit to being at a disadvantage - I watched this one without sound or subtitles. Nevertheless, it was clear that this is a very silly film indeed. Miles of mugging, no restraint whatsoever, a senseless plot, sledgehammer direction, and it didn't strike me as even remotely funny.

Curiosity value only.
