Summary: good, solid mystery
Corpse Mania is a good, solid mystery film. Director Gwai Chi-Hung does a nice job with atmospherics of the film; it is creepy and spooky in all the right places. The exploited necromaniacal element is in the scenario but it is tertiary to the plot proceedings. Tanny Tien Ni is smooth as the brothel madam while Wong Yung is quite competent as the police investigator.
