Teenage emperor TongZhi falls in love with lowly chambermaidGuilian, who promptly gets whisked away by the Queen Mother (from the subititles - hopefully the actual dialog has a more traditional title). He goes off searching for her in brothels, while consistently screwing up his royal duties. Lots of nudity and gore. Not a lot of fun.
