The Cheeky Chap (1980)

Cheeky is an understatement ! The lead character's arrogance, added to an ever-present grin and blatant disregard for anyone else's feeling make him a character difficult to like.
This is the film's main problem, even ahead of the awful stop-motion fu-fighting which plagues every fight except the climax (which is pretty good).
I just cannot understand how anyone could sympathize with a hero who, directly and by neglect, causes the death of the father of the girl he's wooing.
The main actors in this film are credited as they appear, which is a bonus for those who want to know who is who. However, they are in historical writing (i.e. hard to read), and chopped off at the sides.
Below average, and not really up to Golden Harvest's standards.
