Enter the Eagles (1998)

Summary: More fun than I expected.
Sure, it's no masterpiece... The writing and delivery of the mostly-English dialogue is never better than "tolerable," and is often downright laughable, but the direction is accomplished (and the pace is fast. If this movie were all in Cantonese and missing about six notably lame bits I might consider picking it up. I think as-is, though, it'll stay a fun one-time viewing. There are plenty of flaws: Shannon Lee's imitation of her father is embarrassing, there are some weak special effects, and the action is sometimes cut so insanely fast it makes "Armaggedon" (US) look like Takeshi Kitano. And of course, the occasional attempts at sentiment fall pretty flat. Still, it's good to see a PURE Hong Kong action movie that doesn't die on the vine due to the Hollywood-wannabe syndrome or a complete lack of action. Enter the Eagles doesn't offer much we haven't seen before, (I say "much" because I honestly never have seen someone bungee-jump out of a helicopter to shoot at bad guys below before!)but it's an entertaining return to the '80s "girls with guns" style.
