Summary: Mildly amusing screwball comedy
The cast tries hard to make this a proper screwball. The lead actress (damned if I can work out who she is) plays if goofy and vulnerable, Chow plays it nasty for his completely unsympathetic villain, and George Lam does okay as the slightly suspect cop. Many of the "jokes" are too forced, and are more a matter of actors acting goofy and shouting. But a few of the gags work, and the final shootout is a taste of the sort of films Chow would later shine in.

To describe this as a Chow Yun Fat film would be an overstatement, as he's more of a guest player.

Overall, not bad, but don't expect too much.
