Lam Ching Ying plays Cho Pin as an adult. I could find no explanation of the title "Wong Dai Sin", though Cho Pin is clearly the title character. As Ching Ying's taoist priest roles go, this one is about average. His one-monk-against-many-opponents are quite entertaining without being anything spectacular. All in all, pretty average.

The end credits were a joy to read. Very unusually for a HK film, all the actors were listed against their character names, and in clear bold print. Now, if I could just learn heaps more Chinese names, perhaps I could have recorded them !
