The Roving Swordsman (1983)

Summary: Average
This movie is not good. The plot is confusing and not well-arranged; the action is lacking effort; the acting is mediocre at best; but the movie does feature a rich set, which is about the only good thing here. Not even Ti Lung could save this dated production. I mean, you already had Bastard Swordsman and Holy Flame of the Martial World in that same year, and Jet Li's Shaolin Temple the year before, and Adam Cheng's THE SWORD in 1980. These are all better swordsplay films compared to this one. Such a poor adaption from Gu Long's famous novel is not worth seeing. Go see the enjoyable Sentimental Swordsman series instead.
