Different story for once. Starting with the cultural Revolution, the movie goes on to show the releation ship between Hong Kong and the mainland.

Still, it looked as though it might have been a serious insite into crime in Hong Kong, but instead it just glorified crime like just another Triad movie (see Young & Dangerous and you'll know what I mean).

So unfortunatly, not as good as it could have been.
