Not a great film, but has some good points. The main one is that 2/3 of the screen time is taken up by training sequences and some pretty good chop sockey. The highlight is the battle near the end between Liu Hao Yi and Lee Hai Shing - it's a ripper.
I'd like to have seen less preoccupation with the kids. And, biggest letdown of all, the final victory over the lead villain seems more of a rushed stroke of luck than any triumph of skill, which much of the leadup to the final fight prepares the viewer for.
Although Alex Lo and Liu Hao Yi are billed as the stars, they are really just two members of a large ensemble cast of mostly obscure bit players at best. They can throw some pretty good punches and kicks, though.
And a weird thought to leave you with. Here's a quote from one of the bad guys : "Don't look up yourself".
Overall, could have been a lot better, but an above average cheapie.
