It's Now or Never (1992)

Set in the early sixties, with Cheung Man and Cynthia Khan playing "teddie girls" (not familiar with this period, but "Teddie Girls" are apparently gangs of bad girls with big hair and leather skirts who like rock'n roll and a life of crime...). Cynthia especially is hilarious as a girl who pretends to know "Eagle's Claw" kungfu whenever there's a possibility of a fight - of course she always gets beaten up if it wasn't for her sister Cheung Man bailing her out.

This movie is hard to describe. It's unlike any other HK movie I've seen - feels a bit like a John Waters movie at times, complete with surf guitar music and wacky hair. Not bad. VCD only, unfortuantely.
