Summary: Good
Happy Together is a Stephen Shin film, which means only one thing. Non-stop comedy only the way he does it.

Cherie Chung is a reporter who is always getting hassled by her male counterparts, which leads her to be miserable never seeing the good side of men. Especially when Kenny Bee (a businessman) shows interest in her. Then again, she is the one who wakes up in his bed – not what it seems though, as it was a joke played by Lowell Lo, though they don’t realise it. The two keep bumping into each other, but it isn’t until Cherie is robbed in the street one day that sees the good side of Kenny who comes to her rescue. Though predictable, they keep arguing and getting back together through different (mostly not funny) situations. The biggest problem is when his friend (Vivian Chow) comes on the scene...leading Cherie to believe he has been cheating on her. To make things worst, they begin to drift apart as Cherie is making a news report investigation about Kenny’s boss for fraud crimes, making the couple rivals.

Big cast list as usual, the way Stephen does it. Kenny Bee, Cherie Chung, Lowell Lo, Vivian Chow, Chingmy Yau & even Lawrence Cheng all have plenty of jokes in the film, and are very funny.

So if you like Stephen Shin comedies, and he’s done plenty, then this is well worth seeing. Though there is drama too, it’s more comedy.
