This early effort from Clarence Ford has some bright spots. Deannie Yip gives her usual great performance as the hooker for whom age is becoming unkind. Loletta is quite pleasant as a singing schoolgirl who is not quite innocent. And Guk Fung makes an always welcome (though much too short) appearance as Margaret brutal dad.
Reviewer Score: 4
Apart from this, the film is a soap opera which varies wildly from overheated melodrama to insipid cliche. Jimmy Wong only occasionally fires as the tortured and rather callous young male lead whose attitude is softened by Margaret.
Overall, average at best.
