This movie didn't work for me. The Mandarin dub is terrible as per usual in a SB wuxia movie, and the lack of action doesn't help. However, what little action there is is pretty good, thanks to Yuen Tak the action director. Film is adapted from Gu Long's novel with the same title, but it's not faithful to the novel at all. The ending takes bad endings to new heights. Fans of gore/horror will probably enjoy this freaky movie. I suggest you spend $ on better stuff.
