Excellent crime thriller about a bunch of nobodies with nothing to lose who kidnap a wealthy man (Lau Dan) and later his Father (Ching Miao) to receive a handsome ransom payment. They almost get away scott-free, but one of the men in the gang, Ting Hsiao Chiang (Lam Wei Tiu), slips up and babbles his gang’s unscrupulous act to an untrustworthy man named Fu(Chiang Nan), who later attempts to blackmail the gang for a piece of the ransom money. The gang swoops in and to cover all their tracks, knocks off Fu. In all the chaos that is going on, Chiang demands his cut of the money and threatens to squeal to the cops. Seeing that Chiang may be a pain in the ass, the gang attempts to kill him, but luckily for Chiang, the cops arrive in time to save him. The gang escapes and plans to flee to Macau, but it’s too late. Chiang decides to cop a plea bargain, and then rats out his former partners in crime to reduce his prison stay. For the rest of the gang, Lung Wei (Lo Lieh), Niu Ta Kang (Tung Lin), and Chao Hai Chuan (Fan Mei Sheng), they all get to hang on the gallows.
