Crazy Mission (1997)

Crazy Mission is kind of a B-list version of Gen-X Cops. It deals with a group of young undercover cops who go in a bit too deep and become hunted by the police themselves. Since this production obviously didn't have as much money to throw around as Gen-X Cops, more emphasis here is placed on the acting rather than pyrotechnics, and that makes it a stronger movie in my opinion. While none of the young actors are really great, they do give convincing performances, and I found myself becoming more interested in the characters as the film progressed. Action-wise, Crazy Mission does a good, if unspectacular, job -- particularly during the finale, where Dick Wei shows off some of his formidable martial arts skills. Overall, Crazy Mission is a good fluff action movie that's worth a look if you're into these types of films.
