Summary:
An hilarious comedy caper from John Woo
|
Money Crazy is a funny caper film that was made during Woo's screwball comedy period. Ricky Hui portrays an inept bodyguard who's regarded as a jinx by his peers because of the unlike fates of his previous employers. Richard Ng stars as a money hungry P.I./con artist who crosses pathes one day with Ricky. Eventually the two form an uneasy bond. The two deciede to team up and rip-off a real sleazy precious gems dealer. As with all of John Woo's earlier films he uses action set pieces that would eventually end up in his later films. I enjoyed it very much and so will you. For John Woo fans.
This movie is finally availible on DVD and it's in widescreen with easy-to-read subtitles.
