Cannes unveils lineup
Park Chan-wook’s “Thirst” leads a strong Asian presence in Competition. He has joined by more Asian titles: Johnnie To’s “Vengeance,” Brillante Mendoza’s “Kinatay” and “Face,” a French-set extravaganza from the Taiwan-based maverick [,Hou Hsiao-Hsien]. China’s Lou Ye (”Summer Palace”) is back at Cannes with a reportedly torrid young love triangle tale, “Spring Fever.”

Patrick Tse: Nicholas Tse merely putting on airs
Concerned about his son’s personal development, Nicholas Tse refused to let his son take on any endorsement jobs. Tse’s father, Tse Yin, on the other hand, said his son is putting on airs.

It was previously reported that little Lucas, Tse’s son, is afraid of his father. In a media interview, grandfather Tse Yin said, “Nicholas is putting on the airs of a father! His wife is very lenient and somewhat silly. She will be happy even with her husband’s back view. I think she’s cute and I really dote on this daughter-in-law of mine.”
