I would KILL for a soundtrack to that film. That music is so cool! Knowing the history of soundtracks for Milkyway films—which means there practically are none—we may have to wait for the followup box set to this cool CD collection released recently.

Unfortunately, as this first box set is 1995-2005 (10 year anniversary), we may have to wait about 8 more years for the second set.

Someone over at KFC wrote the composer Guy Zerafa in Toronto and he sent him a CD-R of the soundtrack including excerpts from a current Johnnie To project he is working on. Now he's flooded with requests.

Interesting to know the composer of such a killer score is based in Canada. Actual Canadian film music is rarely memorable, especially since most of the movies shot here are made-for-video U.S. junk requiring little more than elbows on a syntheziser. :?

(P.S. Actually, there IS good Canadian film music out there, but we Canadians don't actually WATCH much Canadian cinema, so we don't get to hear it! )
