Some reaction on the Olympic Marathon story. It sounds like the IOC, which is never very concerned with athletes, is actually worried about holding the endurance events in Beijing. I think a lot of people might be surprised at just how bad the air is there. Usually the only controversy before the Summer Games concerns whether venues and and housing will be finished on time.
