For those who think downloading isn't the way of the future, this story might be a bit of an eye-opener. It's a start, that's for sure.

Don't know if anybody's checked out EZTakes' catalogue, but there's some okay stuff in there (ZEN OF SWORD, SWORDSMAN II, 13 COLD-BLOODED EAGLES, TAI CHI II etc.) amongst the expected lesser titles from the Tai Seng catalogue, and some of it can be streamed for FREE! :D Prices to download/burn are just a shade too high ($8-$10) for a lot of what Tai Seng has given them, especially considering Tai Seng's often compromised prints, etc. (something EZTakes acknowledges on some of the listings I've seen so far, which is kinda cool). There are a few listed at $3.99 to download/burn, which should probably be the price across the board. I'd imagine the more titles this site gets, that may one day be the case.

Also noticed some of their listings feature links to the HKMDB. Somebody here working over there?

I notice that some bonus features have been removed. Wonder if commentary tracks are also eliminated.

Note: Due to copyright restrictions, some Bonus Features on this DVD have been removed.

I noticed that on a couple of titles after I posted above. For the most part, I can live with it, but I'd hate to see certain features, especially commentaries, disappear into the ether as more and more films become available for download and go out-of-print on DVD. Maybe we'll see a commentary-only site someday, where we'll have to download the commentary to go with our downloaded movies! I'll give this company credit, though, they're fairly upfront about stuff like this on some of their listings.
