PUSH (2009) Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning; Camilla Bell; Djimon Hounsou,
In theatres Feb. 6

http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/push/

Filmed and set in Hong Kong! 8)

Nice to see Hollywood finally giving the city more than just a token appearance a la the RUSH HOUR movies or DARK KNIGHT. Loved director Paul McGuigan's early film GANGSTER NO. 1, though his work in between has been hit or miss for me. Still, the visuals here are, of course, lovely. Not sure if any locals turn up. Guess we'll see.

Very cool. Might update a few bios (not filmographies, though) as time permits! Interesting casting: Hau Woon-ling as "old woman with gun." :D

That review sounds about as mixed as the trailer made me feel, but the references to McGuigan's visual treatment of the city itself has me tempted to see it anyways.

I'll probably go see a matinee of this, but I'm not holding out much hope. If they couldn't even get a review blurb from Shawn Edwards, then this probably isn't very good.

This definitely lowers the chances of Ben Lyons proclaiming it, as he did I AM LEGEND, to be one of the greatest movies of all time.
