I suspect, Lui Saan & ???, ??. is the same person. Also, she is also Lu Ai-Qun is the movie.

Ding Sai is credit the role of Shen Ku. Cd there be wrong ID?

These might all be suspect credits for Lui San, or at least worthy of reconsideration:

The Merry Wife (1972) ... piano teacher HKFA: no credit, anyone know where the 'piano teacher' credit is from?

Makes me also wonder about ??? as an alias if it's based only on HKFA's 14 Amazons entry, too. Can't find a reference anywhere else as her alias, only ??/San San. Or, there are two ??s.

I am not sure her age is correct. Base on her year of birth of 1964, she is 4 in her 1968 picture and 9 in her 1971 picture.
She is the youngest actress to play a brothel girl role. I think she is wrongly ID in her 1971 picutre. She cd be this little girl:

If so, the same logic apply to all her other 1972s film.

I doubt in Trilogy of Swordsmanship any of the courtesans is identifiable by name. If they are, I wd have input their names already. Other roles with names are not ID in sub-title either. Maybe, I have watched a lousy edition.

Is that her place of birth (Shanghai) and birth date (2/24) in lines two and three? If so, it looks different from Rosanne Lui's data, and would indicate two different persons. Can anyone translate the rest of the text?

Her official web site corroborates the 3/29 birth date and place, Hong Kong. No reason she'd change her birth date.

In LADY WITH A SWORD is Lui Saan not in the opening titles cast list - I guess she was only added because that brothel girl looks like the actress on the Lui Saan article image with the bio.

The first 2 shows a student who could be in my opinion Lui Saan and the third images shows a girl who is listed in the hkmdb cast list as Hu Yu-Hsia.

I dunno, she seems a bit older and 'developed' , especially compared to the b/w images. She'd be eight years old (ten at most, even if she fibbed on her official year of birth) in 1972. The girl in Merry Widow doesn't look like Rosanne Lui in the Bruce Lee photo which was taken in 1973 at the latest.

Also, do we have a reference source for the Lu San credit in Merry Wife, e.g., end credits ? Other, than a probably-cribbed-from-HKMDB site?

The name Lui Saan is listed in the opening titles of MERRY WIFE among other student actors. I guess the Shaw Brothers actress Lui Saan is another actress like the girl/singer born 64.
