Just listened to an interesting podcast from our CBC up here regarding the "open source" movement that seeks to get as much university course material out to the public as possible (as with Apple's "I-Tunes U"), largely because most of it is taxpayer-funded in the first place.

The show also mentioned the Directory of Open Access Journals
http://www.doaj.org/
from which I found some essays, reviews, publications, theses and such related to Hong Kong cinema. Some interesting stuff, hopefully:

Scope, a publication of the University of Nottingham, Institute of Film Studies, U.K.

From Trinity College, Dublin, the Irish Journal of Gothic and Horror Studies:

A piece about A TALE OF TWO SISTERS

I also like their "Lost Souls" section:

From Film-Philosophy.com (not sure what school this is affiliated with)
Several articles relating to Hong Kong/Asian cinema (scroll down to "October 2003). Many of these articles don't display very well, but the text is still within, if highly irritating to read. :(

Might keep my eyes posted for more.
