Legendary Assassin (2008)

Postby wblaik » Fri Feb 06, 2009 12:03 pm

Just a quick post as I don't have much time (lack of internet access right now) to rave about this wonderful new action movie I think everyone here needs to check out :)

After having watched it twice yesterday I can happily say it's probably the best contempory HK martial arts flick since the much celebrated movie SPL.

Great to see an appearance by the lovely Kara Hui, and producer/presenter credit by none other than Ng See Yuen - the film actually starts with the Seasonal Films logo (a joy in itself ;) ). :)

Please check it out and support the great people involved :)

All the best,
Will.

I'm waiting for my copy to arrive. I'm a pretty big Wu Jing fan. Even if he's not the greatest actor, the guy can go full-tilt in the action department.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to get this as soon as I can find three films I want at Yesasia! I was going to order this, Beast Stalker and Red Cliff today, but the latter is bloody expensive - over £20 for the DVD. I wouldn't even spen that much on the BD!

Yes, that's a bit more reasonable. I've only ordered off them once before, so I don't tend to go there a lot. Thanks for the tip - I'll order after payday :D .
