I recently rewatched a lot of older (eighties) films from my library, like TILL DEATH DO US SCARE, ESPRIT D'AMOUR, ARMOUR OF GOD (yuk!) etc and I realised that, for the longest time, Alan Tam's songs have always been an intrinsic part of my formative HK movie viewing experience.

It's probably a big ask, but is there a compilation available on CD of a lot of his eighties film themes? I'd really love to revisit a lot of songs away from the films they were a part of...

Thank you kindly for the memory-jog, Fan! I have been meaning to pick that double album up for ages, but just keep managing to forget about it. I did actively look for it while I was in Malaysia in May/June, but didn't happen across it anywhere in my travels.

I'll buy it online and be done with it soon -- coz it has...Alan Tam's "Imagination" from ESPRIT D'AMOUR!

Mike, I'm glad to help. Do you have the album 霧之戀 (Foggy Love)? "Imagination" is in it and that's a really great album.

I was looking for Alan Tam's song "Lorelei," which was used in Jackie Chan's movie Armor of God. Anyone know which CD it would be on?
