The name èš mostly is translated as Tam, but still there are lots of Taam here - can we change those to Tam, too?

I think, in HK, "Tam" is more widely used than "Taam".

I see dead vowels

I usually try get rid of those pesky stuttering vowels everytime I see them in over there yonder DB...my opinion only but it's just not proper usage (not yet anyhow) because it reads as 'grammatically crude' well, around here anyway. (My eyes are bad enough now I have to see doubles...& sober) I know some of you guys are following either 'Jyutping' or some other Canto based protocol but the side-effects are far reaching. With this kind of presentation, these transliterations IMO have taken on a dash of the unorthodox outside of ‘our’ circles (wherever that may be, film school academia?) with that overstressed quality & the words just play out as well, constipated.

For example if you're going to say the word 'Eight' i.e. '8' with 'baat' instead of using 'bat' with an appropriate macron i.e. 'bÄ
