Summary: Beautifully layered textures

Strong, heartbreaking film from esteemed director Ann Hui tells the story of a domestic caretaker nearing the end of her days. Touching performances from Ip and Lau make the brillant screenplay leap into your eyes. Beautifully layered textures of life in Hong Kong make this a compelling portrait of a wonderful person.
