The "deadly spider" is comically non-threatening of course, and the action isn't that great - but the story, production values and "fun factor" all score very high. Reviewer Score: 8

Reviewed by: Sydneyguy Date: 12/15/2003 Summary: Scared of spiders? Though theiris intrigue in this movie, what makes the movie REALLY unrealistic is the main item of the movie. A super spider which basically kills all in it's path!! And it is a normal sized spider which has all these powers!! Can ou imagine a group of heroes scared of a tiny spider? Sorry that just made me laugh!! the rest of the movie is quite serious. Yuah Hua plays a loyal but naive warrior who is both loyal and righteous. But then he encounters a lady who is mysterious and blindly accepts her as her friend. There are a few plots twists here which i won't reveal. The martial arts is standard. Nothing special, the ending felt like a anti climax!! The plot twists keep u interested but the little spider that scares all, PRICELESS!! 6/10
