This flick seems like a cash-in on the Crippled Avengers motif. There’s a cut-throat effort for the headship of the Hung Clan when its leader dies. One of the students, Chen Wei (Cheng Chi Ying), gains the Hung Clan leadership by trickery and careful planning. He cripples his only real danger in Chen Lei (Ku Feng), the “chosen” leader of the Hung Clan, by turning everyone against him—even his wife! Chen Lei is banished from the clan and wanders the countryside as a drunk until he meets up with 3 handicapped men who are under duress by some men of Chen Wei’s. Chen Lei teaches the threesome gung fu and together, the foursome join forces to take on Chen Wei and his “insane devil’s palm”. All the heroes are handicapped men who have learned gung fu to seek revenge against the bad guys who handicapped them.
