Summary
Old Master Q and Shorty run a pawn shop. One day, two men steal a diamond ring from a rich man and his mistress, stitch the ring into a coat, pawn the coat, and hide the pawn ticket in a nearby dispensary, planning to steal the ticket later. But the ticket is discovered, and the coat is given to a shoe-shine boy, the Young Master. The robbers continue to chase the ring.
