Summary
The opening credits song 'Love Is Invincible' aptly sets forth the premise for this domestic drama. Sam Hui and Olivia Cheng are on the verge of divorce due to personality clashes. Their kids, each living with their estranged parents, try every possible way to bring the family back together. Things go from bad to worse, however, as their granddad Dean Shek's clumsy mediation efforts only serve to deepen the crisis. Steering clear of fairy-tale romance, the well-fleshed-out characters and richly-plotted script duly reflect life's realities for urban dwellers. The child stars' genuine and heartfelt performance shows clearly that love is what makes a family bonds together. (From HKFA)
