Miss Ching, in debt to triads, smuggles a watch into Sapporo, to sell, but the dealer offers far to small a price. A little desperate, Ching plays mahjong, but she is swindled out of her remaining money, and is thus tricked into becoming a bonded hostess. Ching is a snooty loudmouth, and initially dismisses offers of support from "Kiyoko", who is actually a Taiwanese. But her cruel new employers force Ching to accept Kiyoko's help, especially after the boss disposes of a Filipina who pathetically keeps asking for her passport back. |
