Biography
 
  Barbara Wong graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in drama, she achieved the best actress award from the movie 《神跡奇案》 while she was still studying. After graduation, she joined the Hong Kong Commercial Radio as a full-time DJ, managing different types of program. In 1993, Barbara went to the New York University to study film and continue her studies. Her self-directed graduation work "HUGO", was elected the "NYU Best Student Film". Thereafter she stayed in New York, and produced a short film "The Hipster". In 1997, she was selected the New Actor in the independent long film 《留下買路情》, which she self-directed and acted in.
